Scholarships
UNCSA is proud to offer the Cori Gross Memorial Scholarship to cover the full cost of attendance for one filmmaking student in 2025. Also, The Winston-Salem Foundation is offering the full cost of attendance for one student filmmaker in the program. Applications for both scholarship are open through May 30th at this link.
Students needing financial assistance are also encouraged to pursue resources in their
communities such as Rotary, booster clubs, churches, foundations and businesses.
Additionally, the Anthony Quinn Foundation has a competitive scholarship program for high school students in the arts.

Deadlines and Payment Schedule

| Notification | Within 10 business days of application | Students and parents will be notified by email of acceptance or non-acceptance. |
| Deposit | Upon acceptance | A non-refundable $200 deposit is required for enrollment. Students who do not pay the deposit within one week will be placed on a waitlist. |
| Half-payment deadline | April 15 |
Payment totaling 1/2 of the total due. Registrations between April 15 and May 1 must pay a minimum of 1/2 the total due to secure participation. |
| Registration deadline | May 1 |
Rolling admissions. The Filmmaking Summer Intensive is expected to fill well ahead of the registration deadline. Applying early is recommended. |

Please note that fees are subject to change. Please email the Community and Summer Programs office if you wish to set up a monthly payment plan. Payment plans must adhere to the payment deadlines above. Summer Programs are not eligible to accept funds from 529s.
Cancellations
- $200 non-refundable deposit due after acceptance: check or credit card. Students who have not paid the deposit will be marked as waitlisted until the deposit is paid.
- Student withdrawal by May 1: Refund of half the amount paid
- Student withdrawal after May 1: No refunds
In the event a program is canceled by UNCSA, payments will be refunded in full.
