Each day, you'll dive into rigorous contemporary technique classes and creative practice courses that sharpen your skills in improvisation, composition, and phrase work. But this program is about more than just training—it's about creating. You'll be cast in two dynamic projects: a brand-new original work crafted by one of our visionary choreographers from the Choreographic Institute and a visually stunning dance film directed by the powerhouse team of Grady Bowman and Ashley Lindsey from GXA Creative.

Optional Cross-Disciplinary Electives

Cross-disciplinary electives outside the Summer Dance curriculum are offered evenings and weekends for an additional cost.  Students are responsible for ensuring that any registrations outside of their intensives do not conflict with their training schedule.  Visit the Cross-disciplinary elective page to learn more. 

Instructions to Audition for DANCE | CONNECTION NOW

A video audition is required for acceptance into DANCE | CONNECTION NOW. Audition requirements and video audition registration links are available on the Apply and Audition Page.  Dancers who are accepted into DANCE | CONNECTION NOW will receive an invitation to enroll with details on the enrollment process.

Performance

The program will conclude with a professionally produced dance concert featuring work by Choreographic Institute Choreographers and DANCE | CONNECTION NOW Faculty. Family and friends are invited to attend.
