Apply - Animation Summer Intensive

The Animation Summer Intensive is open to rising high school freshman to incoming college freshman. Please note that for students under the age of 18, a parent should complete the application.

Note: All Animation Summer Intensive sessions are at maximum capacity for residential students. Spots are still available for commuter students.  All new applications must start on the waiting list. Additional residential spots may become available if admitted students withdraw.  

Application Instructions

2025 Animation Summer Intensive applications open November 15.  Space is limited, and students will be admitted to the Animation Summer Intensive in the order of their applications until program and residence hall spaces are full.  The Animation Summer Intensive is likely to fill prior to the application deadline.  Students living 25 miles from UNCSA must attend as commuter students. To apply for the Animation Summer Intensive, complete an application at this link , download the student information form , and return it to the email listed on the form no later than May 1, 2025.  UNCSA Community and Summer Program staff will review applications, register students with completed applications, and send payment links within 10 business days.  

Priority Application Deadline: April 15, 2025.  Applying early is strongly recommended.  Applications received after April 15 are subject to a $25 late application fee.  Students applying after the program fills will be added to a wait list.
