Summer Dance Professional Studies

The Professional Studies Intensive offers a one-week deep dive into the creative process, teaching methodology, and repertory of some of today's leading contemporary dance choreographers. The Intensive provides a space for dancers to experience the creative practices of a diverse and innovative group of choreographers. Through rigorous training and creative exploration, dancers are encouraged to step beyond what is familiar and into what is possible while cultivating their artistic voice.

Instructions to Audition for Professional Studies 

Auditions for the 2024 Professional Studies intensive are now closed. Auditions will reopen in October 2024 for consideration into the 2025 Summer Intensive.

Enrollment Requirements

Only accepted dancers will be invited to enroll in the UNCSA Summer Dance Intensive. Applicants must have completed audition registration, paid the audition fee, and submitted their video audition properly in order to receive an admissions decision, and receive instructions on how to enroll.
