The Fulbright Program enters a second year of success
Interviews for the Fulbright applications just wrapped up! Andrew Britt, the Fulbright director, received a record seven applications from students representing
the schools of Filmmaking, Music and Drama.
Three students proposed original creative projects in Canada, Nigeria and the U.K. Four others applied to serve as English teaching assistants in Kenya and Germany. Our two amazing Fulbright committees (one for open study/research and another for English teaching assistantships) came from DLA and all conservatories.
The members of the committee were Rachel Williams, Michael Alvarez, Hans Gabriel, Martha Golden, Shahin Gorgani, Anson Koch-Rein, Steve LaCosse and Endalyn T. Outlaw. We are excited to see what the next phase brings! Fulbright applications are highly competitive and we are thrilled that our students have this opportunity.
