Shahin Gorgani is an independent writer, filmmaker, musician and actor from Iran. In the spirit of independent filmmaking, his courses encompass a comprehensive range of subjects including acting, screenwriting, world cinema, and creative development, and seek to empower students with the essential knowledge and tools needed to embark on their journey as visionary filmmakers.
I see art as imagination with no boundaries, no rules and no limitations. A filmmaker, artist or educator is meant to push frontiers and wear down the edges of human imagination, conjure beauty from the most unexpected things, and find magic in places where others never thought to look. As an educator, I believe that each student should follow their own passion as we all look at the world differently.
