The Pickled Eutubiams

The Pickled Eutubiams are a newly formed tuba-euphonium chamber music collaborative at UNCSA beginning in 2021. Under the direction of Brent Harvey, Adjunct Professor of Tuba-Euphonium at UNCSA, the group is comprised of high school, undergraduate, and graduate music majors, music minors and students pursuing varying degrees of study.

The ensemble rehearses weekly, performs concerts on a semesterly basis, and additionally participates in university, community, and conference performances locally as well as across the U.S. Repertoire performed consists of original compositions, transcriptions and arrangements from various time periods encompassing a variety of musical styles, ranging from renaissance to jazz and classical to pop culture music of today.
