What's on Your Bill

The billing statement shows charges and credits on a student's account as of the bill's generation date. Charges may include:

  • Tuition and fees
  • Housing costs
  • Meal plan
  • Student health insurance (must opt out each semester)
  • Miscellaneous fees (library fees, housing repairs, lost keys, etc.)
  • Monitoring and Payments:

Students and authorized users should monitor accounts for new charges from course changes, financial aid adjustments, and other fees.

Payments should be made on time via the TouchNet portal to avoid holds that affect registration and/or graduation.

Financial aid is applied automatically but may not cover the full balance, so ensure accounts are fully paid by the deadline.

View on Demand Statement

This statement shows student charges, payments, balances, and courses for a selected term in real time. It is useful when an official transcript is not required but an itemized statement is needed for an employer or sponsor. (Note: Only students can view their coursework for a term).

Steps to Access On Demand Statement:

  • Click the “On Demand Statement” button in the blue “Statements” box on the home screen of the Student Account Center.
  • Select the term you want to view from the drop-down menu.
  • Click the Submit button.
  • The statement will open in a new window. Scroll to the bottom and select “Print” to print the statement or save it as a PDF.

View Past Issued Statements

Steps to View Past Statements:

  • Click on My Account and select “Statements.”
Select the billing statement you want to view.

Note: Billing statements are a snapshot in time. Changes to registration, housing, meal plans, parking, etc., will affect the amount due, even though the statement remains the same.

Penalties for non-payment

Students should regularly review their account for balance information and pay any balance promptly to avoid negative consequences, such as:

  • Student holds, preventing registration
  • Cancellation of registration
  • Late fees and interest
  • Debt collection
