New College Student Orientation Schedules

Your student is embarking on what will be a powerfully challenging and rewarding time in their college life. Their training here begins with New Student Orientation. Schedules and dates for parents/student are below:

Key Dates

• May 23: Detailed orientation schedule published
• May 20 @ 10am (EST): International Student Virtual Session.  
• June 6: Prevention Education Courses Deadline
• June 16: Academic Registration for art and liberal arts classes
• June 17: Online Parent/Student Orientation
• Aug 6-10 International Student In-Person Early Orientation
• Aug. 12: New residential student move-in and commuter student check-in. Move-in appointments will be scheduled later this summer
• Aug. 12-13: Parent & family portion of on-campus orientation
• Aug. 18: Undergraduate classes begin

New Student & Parent Virtual Orientation

All virtual orientation sessions will be recorded/posted below.  Links for online orientation sessions will be emailed to parents/students.  No links to meetings will be shared on the orientation website.

College In-Person Orientation Schedule

We're excited to have the newest batch of Pickles on campus soon!  The detailed orientation schedule has been published below.  

To view the schedule on a desktop computer:

• Use the categories selections and choose none next to the word select at the bottom of the categories list.  This will clear out all selections. 
• Then click the checkbox next to your student’s grade level and art school (UG, Art School).  After selecting the proper category, you will be able to view your student’s detailed orientation schedule. 
• International Student Orientation begins on Aug 6 and move-in/check-in for all College students starts on Aug 12. 
• Use the blue next arrow to change the date range to your student’s correct check-in/move-in date.  This shared calendar can be added to your preferred digital calendar (Outlook, Google, iCal, etc).  

To view the schedule on a mobile device:

• Tap the categories “all values” bar and then tap (UG, Art School) to view your student’s grade level and concentration.
