Hear our Students
Community Music School students of all ages and ability levels have several opportunities throughout the year to perform in front of an audience at various venues across the UNCSA campus.
Elementary school students enjoy sharing their talents at recitals, competitions and with their friends and families. Our middle and high school students are leaders in their school music programs and frequently place into honors ensembles such as all-state and the Winston-Salem Youth Symphony Orchestra, earn lead roles in musical theatre productions and attend summer residential programs.
High school students have earned acceptance to study music at UNCSA, Appalachian State University, the Manhattan School of Music, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, DePaul University, the Peabody Institute, Berklee College of Music and more. Our adults students enjoy sharing their talents with friends and family in our recitals and in many ensembles throughout our community.
