Band Together Summer Camp registration is now open! Space is limited. Students may apply at the link below. There is an application fee of $25 per week.
Band Together summer day camps provide comprehensive music education opportunities to students in rising grades 7 through 10, designed to foster strong music individual and ensemble skills and develop leadership potential. Students may register for 1 to 4 weeks of instruction meeting Monday-Friday at Shiloh Baptist Church between July 8th and August 2nd, 2024. Band Together is a sponsored project of the Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County and funded through ARPA supported by the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners.
Sample Daily Schedule
| 8:30 – 9:00 AM | Arrival and set up |
| 9:00 – 9:55 AM | Ensemble (warm up and scales) |
| 10:00 – 10:45 | Music Theory (written notation, dictation, ear training) |
| 11:00 – 11:55 | Ensemble (repertoire) |
| 12:00 – 12:30 | Lunch |
| 12:40 – 1:10 | Basic Piano skills |
| 1:15 – 2:15 | Ensemble (repertoire) |
| 2:30 – 3:00 | Students Depart |
