Ollie Gretok is a second-year student in the School of Design and Production majoring in Costume Design and Technology. He is from Holly Springs, North Carolina but grew up in Queens, New York. He greatly enjoys the love of his friends and a good sewing project.
What brought you to UNCSA?
I came to UNCSA to pursue my passion for theatrical costuming. This school is full of people as dedicated to the arts as I am. This builds an environment that is full of life and creativity establishing strong artists.
What advice would you give to Prospective Students?
Some advice I would give to a prospective student is to follow your passion. As an artist passion is what fuels us and being able to follow it makes you brave. “There is no passion to be found playing small, in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” — Nelson Mandela
