What brought you to UNCSA?
What attracted me to UNCSA was the high level of artistry on display. The productions are run as if they were in the professional world, and I view UNCSA as a place that truly prepares emerging artists to become masters in their fields. One of the major attractions for me was the opportunity to learn from UNCSA’s top-tier faculty. Reading their bios and seeing their extensive experiences was so inspiring, and it's a huge privilege to be taught/mentored by such accomplished professionals.
When you get homesick, what helps you?
Being so far from home, I do miss home, but my passion drives me forward. Whenever I feel homesick, I remind myself of the bigger picture: the goals I've set to become a great musician and to inspire/impact lives, both at home and abroad. Focusing on that vision helps me stay motivated and focused.
