Kiley White is a fourth-year undergraduate student in the School of Dance with a concentration in Ballet. She is from Marietta, Georgia and can’t wait to show prospective students what UNCSA has to offer!
What brought you to UNCSA?
After dancing for several years at my local studio, I knew I needed to take the next step in my training, so I decided to audition for UNCSA. UNCSA is a place where several arts are in one place, and through meeting students in other programs and seeing their work, I have found a new love not only in ballet, but in the arts in general. Being surrounded by so many hardworking students inspires and helps me push myself. The dance program is as demanding as it is rewarding, especially when we have such an amazing repertoire to perform.
What is your favorite spot in Winston and why?
My favorite spot in Winston would have to be Reynolda Village. It has so many cute stores as well as restaurants! Not only that, but if you’re looking for somewhere to relax, the gardens are beautiful and there are some nice walking trails as well. My friends and I love to bring a picnic blanket and some dinner and sit in the grass to decompress and chat. It makes for a great place to sit and be outside after rehearsing indoors for so long!
