Kiley Mullins is a Stage Management student from Central Virginia (Lynchburg/Charlottesville) in the School of Design and Production. This is her first year as a student ambassador, and she can't wait to meet you and tell you about why she loves UNCSA!
What brought you to UNCSA?
UNCSA kind of snuck up on me. I heard about it from a family member and applied, not expecting anything to come of it. I had been searching for the program that was right for me, and I wasn't even quite sure that stage management was what I wanted to commit to. But after my interview and tour here, there was no question that this was the perfect place for me. Luckily, I was right! The education that I've received so far has been incredible. I've been offered the unique opportunity to work in dance, theatre, and opera in a way that I wouldn't have gotten to otherwise. I can't wait to see where the rest of my UNCSA experience takes me, especially what it can offer me after I graduate.
What is your favorite spot on campus and why?
My favorite spot on campus is Sneden's Landing. It's a courtyard/outdoor classroom space outside of Design and Production. It's so beautiful and peaceful, especially in the spring and fall. Many a piece of paperwork have been created at those picnic tables.
