Jordan Flint is a second-year Stage Management student in the School of Design & Production. She is originally from Flower Mound, Texas and has been loving the cooler weather and the artsy charm of Winston Salem. As a Stage Management student, Jordan gets to be involved in many different productions on campus and works closely with the School of Design & Production, School of Drama, School of Dance, and School of Music. She loves talking to other artists about their stories and can't wait to meet new prospective students on tours!
What brought you to UNCSA?
I first stage managed in my sophomore year of high school and immediately knew that stage management was the career I wanted to pursue for the rest of my life. I quickly began researching colleges and UNCSA quickly stuck out to me. I loved that Design & Production had its own school instead of being under a School of Drama and that as a stage manager, I would gain experience in not just drama, but also dance and opera.
What is your fondest memory on campus and why?
I have several fond memories on campus with my friends and peers, but a time that sticks out was when I was working on The Rover as a Production Assistant. For one of our show weekends, we had three shows happening at once in Performance Place. It was beautifully chaotic backstage with everyone running around in different directions. Everyone was giving it their all and it was fun to see so many familiar faces at once.
