Arina Komarova is a violist from Moscow, Russia. She is pursuing a Master of Viola performance at UNCSA, studying with Jordan Bak, and is very excited about the opportunity to study at such a diverse and creative place.
Before UNCSA, Arina studied at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory under Anna Sazonkina. During her time there, she frequently performed with a variety of orchestras and ensembles where she experimented with many musical genres from baroque to modern, even rock music. Arina has always been interested in the theory and the history of music to make her playing more meaningful and moving.
