Anna Lei Negrin (she/her) is an actor, singer and musician from New York City. Her love for music was her introduction to performance art and continues to be a driving source for her artistry. As a Chinese-Italian-Egyptian-Jew, she is interested in telling all kinds of stories. At UNCSA, delving into work dealing with aspects of her identity has been extremely rewarding.
She hopes to explore intersectional stories as well as her favorite genre of work, romantic dramedies. You may have recently seen her as Johanna in "Sweeney Todd", as H/Mosquito in "Passage” or as Chana in "Indecent". Later in the year, you can see her as Connie in "The Effect" by Lucy Prebble. When she is not working on her craft, you can catch her window shopping, biking around Central Park or jamming out to 2010 hits.
