The Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards contributes to the educational mission of the University and to support a safe environment conducive to learning excellence.
Collaboration
The Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards works collaboratively with Counseling
Services, Case Management, Campus Police, Title IX, Human Resources and Residence
Life. The office is guided by the restorative justice model which identifies the
behavior, examines the impact of the behavior, and create a plan to address individual
and community harm.
Responsibilities & Services
The associate director of Student Conduct & Community Standards is responsible for
handling administrative matters to ensure effective and efficient functioning of the
student conduct policies and procedures. The associate director coordinates Major
Case Resolution meetings, oversees the Conduct Policy Review Committee, serves as
a Restorative Justice Conference facilitator, and recruits and trains Student Conduct
Board members. The Assistant Director of Student Conduct works with students and their
advocates to resolve Minor and Major conduct cases.

- Substance Use
