Gillian Murphy and ABT Dancers Take Over UNCSA Stage

Alumna Gillian Murphy and her colleagues from American Ballet Theatre visited UNCSA in support of the Gillian Murphy Endowed Scholarship Fund. Joining Gillian were noted dancers Stella Abrera, Isabella Boylston, Misty Copeland, Marcelo Gomes, alumnus Blaine Hoven and James Whiteside.

For a full crowd of dance students, faculty and Dean's Council members, the dancers performed a brief showcase—which also featured two current UNCSA students—before sitting down for a Q&A session, moderated by Susan Jaffe, Dean of the School of Dance. Watch the Q&A below:
