What is Outlook Web App (OWA)?
Outlook Web App (often referred to as OWA) is where you can access your UNCSA email
online. OWA is also where you can find your UNCSA-OneDrive as well as access to download
Lync and the Office suite. OWA can be found at http://outlook.office365.com
What Office365 Applications are available on Windows 7/8?
Office365 offers the complete Office suite of applications, including: Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, OneNote, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Lync, and InfoPath. A OneDrive for
Business sync application is also installed when you install the Suite.
What Office365 Applications are available on Mac OSX?
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Lync are included in the suite. OneNote may
be download for free via the Mac App Store. At this time, Microsoft does not have
Access, Publisher, InfoPath, or the OneDrive for Business sync application available
on Mac
How much space does my UNCSA OneDrive include?
Each UNCSA Faculty or Staff user has 1 Terabyte of storage.
Can I install Office365 at home on my personal computer?
Yes. You can install the Office suite on up to five PCs or Macs.
Can I get Office365 Applications on my iPhone and/or iPad?
Yes. You can download the applications from the App Store on your device.
Once installed, you will login with the same credentials you use to log in to your email.

Can I install Lync on a home computer?
Yes, Lync can be downloaded via your Office365 settings in OWA and installed on as
many computers as you’d like. You can also download the Lync 2013 application on bother
your iPad and iPhone.
When I go to my UNCSA-OneDrive I see “sharepoint” in the address bar; does UNCSA now use SharePoint?
No.
Microsoft uses their SharePoint architecture to host their OneDrive for Business clients.
At this time, UNCSA does not utilize SharePoint.
