25th Anniversary

25th Anniversary

At 25 years, the School of Filmmaking at UNCSA continues its rich tradition of storytelling and looks to the future with the development of new technology, including immersive reality. Since it opened in 1993, the school has grown to offer seven undergraduate concentrations and three graduate degree programs, enrolling more than 250 students each year.

DISCOVER OUR HISTORY

Nearly as soon as students arrive on campus, they begin to gain hands-on experience on film sets, as they hone their skill and learn to collaborate with their peers—both in the film school and across UNCSA's arts conservatories. World-class faculty and guest artists offer compelling instruction in every facet of filmmaking. Graduates depart as confident, indusry-ready filmmakers. As they build their careers, alumni often work together—continuing the camaraderie they established in school.
