David Stanley

David Stanley has been a freelance illustrator for over 30 years working in editorial, advertising, book and corporate markets both nationally and internationally. He loves bringing ideas to life, whether it's with a stylus, brush or purple crayon. In his courses, he seeks to provide students a practical basis for building a robust drawing skillset which includes a keen appreciation for the many nuances the medium affords. 

Proficient drawing is a powerful tool for effective communication. In these classes I place significant emphasis on observation skills and how we translate what we see. We also bring the imagination to bear in exploring a broad scope of creative and aesthetic challenges.
