Allison Agresti

As a counselor, my goal is to create a safe atmosphere that allows students to explore and experience their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions without judgment. I approach counseling as a partnership in which students are the experts on themselves.

I use a variety of approaches to best serve students' unique experiences which includes Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness interventions. I also operate from a trauma-informed and social justice-informed perspective.

I have experience working with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, addiction and substance misuse, and disordered eating. I have specialized training as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher.
