Time Management & Organizational Strategies Workshop

Join us for this lunch and learn session designed specifically for students. You’ll learn how to develop a plan of action for what you want to accomplish - whether you are trying to improve on a current achievement, or attempting to overcome a previous challenge. We’ll also introduce you to a few basic tools, including the newest apps, to assist you in both your academic and professional endeavors.
Electronic versions of our time management forms are available:
- Goal Setting (Excel)

Study Skills Workshop
The key to becoming an effective student is learning how to study smarter, not harder. Join us for this lunch and learn session where students will gain insight into their own personal strengths and weaknesses when learning. We’ll also discuss the best methods for increasing knowledge by developing and applying effective study habits to become a successful student.
Test-taking Strategies Workshop
In college, tests are unavoidable. The approach to taking a multiple-choice exam is
strategically different than taking an essay exam. No matter how hard you study, if
you don’t know the best approach, you won’t score the highest possible grade. Join
us for this lunch and learn session to discuss the connection between good study skills
and test-taking in order to alleviate test anxiety and help you perform at an optimum
level. Students will also learn how to use previous tests as a diagnostic tool and
discover the best strategies to approach the type of test their taking.
