UNCSA Filmmaking Symposium welcomes artist Nisha Bansil Nov. 22
Nisha Bansil’s work explores how the unseen forces in our environment affect our bodies,
and how synaesthetic audio experiences are translated into visual patterns. She designs
experiments that explore the visual connections between the patterns created by natural
phenomena and patterns created by sacred geometry.
In this session, Nisha Bansil and School of Filmmaking faculty Jessica Singerman,
Amit Bhattacharya, and Clint Smith will set up experiments with audience participation
to visualize how sound waves affect both liquid and solid particles.
