Visionary director Susan Seidelman, known for cult classics like "Smithereens" and
"She-Devil," will join the School of Filmmaking Symposium series on Sept. 27.
There will be a screening of "Desperately Seeking Susan" and a discussion of her new
book, "Desperately Seeking Something: A Memoir About Movies, Mothers, and Material
Girls," with Filmmaking professor Michael R. Miller. This event is free and open to the public.
