Meet Human Resources' new Employee Relations Manager
We are delighted to introduce Sharon Hill, our new Employee Relations Manager with
the Human Resources team. With over nine years of UNC System experience, Sharon brings
a wealth of knowledge to enhance our campus work environment and streamline internal
processes.
Her previous roles at Winston-Salem State University, including Interim Director of
Talent and Rewards, Learning and Development Administrator, and Staff Senate President,
have equipped her with the skills and expertise needed for this role.
Sharon's diverse experience also includes serving as the Director of Dudley Cosmetology
University and as a Recruiter/Manager for Randstad Staffing. She is a certified North
Carolina Mediator, Mental Health First Aider facilitator, Emotional Intelligence (SME),
Notary and Life Coach.
Sharon graduated from High Point University with a bachelor's degree in business administration
and a master's in business administration from Winston-Salem State University. She
is currently enrolled at Wake Forest University, pursuing her second master's degree.
