High School Drama Admissions

The Drama program in the UNCSA High School is a one-year intensive course of study for Grade 12 students who demonstrate artistic potential, academic readiness and social maturity.

Application Deadline

To meet a deadline, the application must be submitted with transcript(s) and the application fee paid. All required application documents (opens in new tab) must be uploaded no less than two (2) weeks prior to a scheduled audition.

  • Wednesday, January 15, 2025 (11:59 p.m. EST)
  • Friday, March 7, 2025 (11:59 p.m. EST)

Audition Information

Candidates who meet a deadline will have a 10-minute audition for faculty. Auditions are in-person on the UNCSA campus. Space is limited.

On the day of their audition, candidates attend a required information session about the Acting program. Information sessions are held at the beginning of an audition day. Audition times are assigned at the conclusion of the information session.

All required application documents (including video) must be uploaded no less than two (2) weeks prior to an audition.

Admissions decisions are based on a combination of artistic and academic merits. Decisions are released after all candidates for the 2025-26 school year have been seen.
