Yael Eve

Yael Eve is an actor, creator and cat lover from Los Angeles. She is a passionate storyteller whose love of people and language drove her towards acting. She gravitates towards stories that demand courage, preternatural vulnerability, wit and verbal dexterity.

Yael loves to make people laugh. Physical comedy and dark, absurd humor especially light her up. The child of two philosophers, Yael is hard-wired to ask ‘why?’ She finds joy in the unknown and strives to imbue her entire life, and most definitely her artistry, with curiosity, play and a sense of wonder. In addition to acting, Yael is passionate about creating new works.

For the past three years, she has been directing and writing a devised piece of theatre exploring the lives of women impacted by the American carceral system. She fervently believes that art is capable of participating in tangible, systemic change by encouraging people to seriously call into question, ‘why?’ This fall, Yael will be playing Marie Antionette in David Adjmi’s "Marie Antionette." She will be working on "Julius Caesar" and "Lungs" in the spring.
