Tanner McIntyre

Often mistaken for Madonna, Tanner McIntyre is an actress, singer, musician and writer born and raised in White Plains, New York. Theater began literally opening doors for her in the fifth grade when she played The Doorman in "The Wizard of Oz." She denies all rumors implying that she asked the nuns in charge "why she wasn't the lead?"

She is fascinated by and dedicated to better understanding the world around her through a compassionate, joyful lens. This curiosity has led to a lifelong pursuit of the exploration of people.

Tanner loves people! She loves talking to them, meeting them and laughing with them. In fact, most of her favorite interactions have taken place with strangers she’s met on line while waiting for coffee.

She’s super stoked to be playing Sonya in “The Great Comet of 1812” next semester, as well as continuing to develop her first full-length play, a comedy about an all-girls catholic high school called “The Virgin Molly.”
