Sylvani Starchild-St.Clair is a dancer and multifaceted performance artist. Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, she received formal ballet training for 13 years before shifting her focus to modern dance.
Growing up, she was also steeped in music and theatrical education, as well as circus and vaudevillian influences from a community of clowns who supported her dreams. She has always been driven by her passion for social and climate justice from a young age, which empowers and shapes her artistic goals. She hopes to advocate for social justice in the dance world and be an active member of a dancer’s union.
