Justin Joung

Justin Joung is an actor, singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, California. His passion for performing started in the sixth grade when he played Horton the Elephant in "Seussical the Musical Jr." (he gratefully thanks his big ears for getting him the role).

Since then he’s gone on to perform in musicals, plays and camera work. And in that work, he’s found it a goal of his to be the Asian representation he very rarely ever saw growing up. He’s recently appeared on stage at Santa Cruz Shakespeare as Silvius in "As You Like It" and Hal in "Proof."

At UNCSA, he’ll be seen as Mortimer in "Edward II" and Dolokhov in "Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812." Along with singing, acting, and dancing, Justin also enjoys cooking, writing, improvising musicals with friends, and making really stupid jokes (just ask him about his cow jokes).
