Josh Kwon is an actor and podcast host currently based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is graduating in the spring of 2023 from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with his B.F.A. in Acting with a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship. Josh is a Minnesota native, growing up in the suburbs of the twin cities where his dream to play shortstop for the Minnesota Twins and run a fortune 500 company began.
Josh is an avid sports fan. From an early age he was sliding head first into second base, throwing deep fly routes on the field, and perfecting his golf swing at the range. He also has a deep love for fitness, photography and anything business.
Past credits include F in “Passage” directed by Nana Dankin. And G (zeus/ hades) in “Polaroid Stories” directed by Jason Bohon. As a creator, Josh’s work has focused on Asian masculinity and identity. Josh has produced “Redefined” (director/ creator) and “Beyond” (director/ creator- in progress) and “38th and Chicago” (writer/ creator – in progress).
Also, coming next year is his brand new podcast “The 5’9 Club” which explores Asian Masculinity.
