Hunter McCoy (they/he) is a non-binary actor, voice actor, and stunt performer from Raleigh, NC. A lifelong nerd, their passion for storytelling comes from a passion for all things movies, video games, anime, D&D, and comics. They believe that stories have the unique ability to transport us into other lives, and that seeing ourselves reflected in them can inspire real empathy and change. Whether grounded or fantastical, he loves to collaborate on building deep characters and worlds for the stage or screen, bringing warmth to any creative room.
Outside of class, Hunter dives headfirst into their special interests. They're trained as an actor combatant and stunt person with the SAFD and International Stunt School. He has voice acted for animated films, podcasts, video games, commercials, and audiobooks. They’re also no stranger to the makeup chair, having been turned into dead gods, lizard-people, heavenly messengers, and even Gollum, for various films and makeup projects on campus. His dream is to use all of his toolkit as the lead in a superhero movie or performance capture for a video game.
