Gabriella Erin Giuliano is a first-year graduate student at UNCSA pursuing a Master of Music in Composition.
Erin grew up in Apex, North Carolina. She has studied piano, trumpet, and viola for 15, 8, and 7 years respectively, and her undergraduate degree was a Bachelor's in Piano Performance. She has studied music theory and composition in tandem with her various instrument studies and finds musical inspiration in all of them.
During her undergraduate studies, Erin worked as a tutor in music theory and ear training, as well as head grader for the school's music theory classes. She loves teaching the principles of music theory and ear training in ways that help students understand and appreciate music more, not just for textbook homework assignments.
Erin hopes to inspire young music students to dream big and believe in themselves no matter what.
