Emma Fagin

Emma Fagin was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, a city she believes everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. Emma fell in love with acting when she played Rebecca in "Our Town" at the oldest theatre in New Orleans. She would watch Emily’s “goodbye” monologue from the wings and think, “I want to make people feel this way.” Since then, she’s devoted her life to figuring out how.

As an actor, singer and dancer, Emma is passionate about using her artistry to remind people that the human experience is profound (and funny). She’s a lover of Shakespeare, devised theatre, singing ditties, doing jigs and all things whimsical.

When she’s not sharpening her craft, you can find her at a small local concert, perusing the trinket selection of an antique store, or watching Jim Henson’s "Labyrinth" for the hundredth time. A Kenan Excellence Scholar and an alumnus of New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, Emma is endlessly grateful to those who have made arts education accessible to her.

She is committed to advocating for the importance of access to the arts for everyone. She owes everything to her big beautiful family, who have supported her at every step of her journey, and the artists she’s had the privilege of learning from along the way.
