Comp ticket policy

Comp tickets for students, faculty and staff will be available starting three weeks before the first performance of each production. These tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Any remaining tickets will be released to the public for sale one week before the performance. To reserve your comp tickets, select “UNCSA Community” from the categories on the checkout page.

Beginning one week before the performance, UNCSA community members can choose seats from any available section, including those marked as “General.”

The UNCSA Community section will remain available for purchase through the portal until two hours before the performance or until tickets sell out. One hour before each performance, any remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the door by both the community and the public.

Comp tickets are available as follows:

  • UNCSA students: one ticket to any single performance of a production. This ticket is intended for personal use and is non-transferrable.
  • UNCSA faculty and staff: two tickets to any single performance or run of a production. These tickets are intended for use by the individual faculty/staff member and his/her guest and are non-transferrable.

Comp Tickets can be redeemed by logging into the Patron Portal.

Anyone who reserved comp tickets and does not use them or release them prior to the performance more than two times in a year could lose access to this benefit for the remainder of the school year.
