Performance Overview

The Fire Pink Trio returns this season for “Intertwined,” a concert of works communicating the connection between human creativity and the natural environment. The trio, composed alumna Debra Reuter-Pivetta, flute; Sheila Browne, viola; and faculty artist Jacquelyn Bartlett, harp, is named after the brilliant wildflower that covers the North Carolina mountains in late spring.

The trio will perform works by Krinio Papastavrou, Libby Larsen, Hillary Tann and Terry Mizeskot. Lyric soprano Elizabeth Pacheco Rose joins the trio, and stunning visuals by renowned photographer Brooks de Wetter-Smith, professor emeritus at UNC-Chapel Hill, will underscore the radiant soundscape created by these critically acclaimed artists.
