Several alumni from UNCSA are nominated for Emmy Awards for their work on some of the most popular television and streaming shows of the year.
Nominations for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced virtually today. This year’s awards include shows that aired from June 2023 through May 2024.
Alex Perrone (B.F.A. Dance ’12) is nominated for outstanding prosthetic makeup for the Disney+ sci-fi series “Ahsoka.”
Chris Ellison (B.F.A. Filmmaking ’15) is nominated for outstanding cinematography for a reality program for his work as a cinematographer on the CBS series “Survivor.”
Lindsay Newton (High School Dance ’07) is nominated for outstanding period costumes for a series
for her work on the Apple TV+ series “Palm Royale.”
Atli Örvarsson (M.M. Music ’98) is nominated for outstanding music composition for a series for his work on the original dramatic score of the Apple TV+ series “Silo.”
Matt Cloud (B.F.A. Filmmaking '04) is nominated for outstanding sound editing for a limited series for his work on the Netflix series “All The Light We Cannot See.”
Awards in the entertainment categories will be presented Sunday, Sept. 15, in a ceremony to be broadcast on ABC at 8 p.m. and streamed the next day on Hulu. FXX will air an edited presentation of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony on Sept. 14 at 8 p.m.
