UNCSA "West Side Story" photos

With support from all five conservatories, UNCSA presented a new, fully staged, Broadway-caliber production of "West Side Story" in 2007. "West Side Story" was directed by Drama Dean Emeritus Gerald Freedman, who was assistant director of the original 1957 Broadway production and co-director of the 1980 Broadway revival. Former Chancellor John Mauceri served as musical director, and Kevin Backstrom staged Jerome Robbins' choreography.
