Sarah Core is currently a graduate student in the piano performance program at UNCSA, studying with Dmitri Shteinberg. She moved to North Carolina from Arizona, having studied music for over 15 years.
Recently, Core completed a bachelor's degree in Music Theory & Composition at Arizona State University, graduating magna cum laude from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts as well as Barrett, the Honors College. Her past teachers include Robert Hamilton, Cathal Breslin, Andrew Campbell and Christina Eide.
Prior to teaching at the Community Music School, Sarah worked for the Yamaha Music School teaching children of all ages with a focus on teaching students at the beginning and intermediate levels of their piano journey.
