Jules Szabo

Jules Szabo is a UNCSA High School Dance alumna who specializes in using ballet, jazz, contemporary dance and conditioning exercises for fitness. Szabo’s success as a dance fitness entrepreneur materialized after college, graduate school, motherhood and over 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

As a corporate executive, Szabo had enjoyed the business, operations and leadership skills she gained, but missed dancing. She finally returned to her dancing roots and reset her entire professional trajectory by creating daily dance fitness classes for trained ballet, jazz and contemporary dancers. In 2009, she taught The Dancer’s Workout® (TDW) for the first time and never looked back. Jules is thrilled to be back at UNCSA teaching students who are the age she was when her dance journey first began.
