Brittney Biggs

In the counseling space, I aim to create a supportive environment where students are free to deeply explore themselves. I enjoy guiding emerging young adults towards helpful solutions and skills that will positively transform their lives. I believe that each person is an expert on themselves through their own lived experiences and I am honored to partner with individuals on their journey toward healing, personal growth, and self-discovery.

Before becoming a mental health counselor, I spent most of my career working in higher education serving the adolescent and young adult population, where I discovered my passion for helping people achieve their goals and dreams. I have worked with clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, career development, interpersonal and relational issues, life transitions, general stress, and other related concerns.

My approach to counseling is tailored to the uniqueness of each client to ensure a personalized and effective therapeutic experience. I focus on establishing a trusting relationship and meeting the client’s individual needs. Having studied other holistic modalities, such as energy healing, bodywork, and meditation, I often incorporate somatic and mindfulness interventions that complement the therapeutic process and emphasize the mind-body connection. As part of my counseling work, I strive to teach and empower clients so they can unlock their untapped potential to become who they truly are.
