Soprano Barbara Ann Peters has been praised as a “highly articulate and
sensitive artist” “with a gloriously soaring voice” whose “singing and acting has
proper poise.” From The News & Observer (Raleigh, NC): she ”brings an affecting vulnerability
to alcohol-addled Birdie, her warm soprano making the most of several big moments…”.
In addition to maintaining a private studio for more than 50 years, Peters has served on the voice faculties of UNC-Greensboro, High Point University, Elon University, UNC Greensboro and UNC Chapel Hill.
Bring an open mind and a willingness to learn and participate to every class. Allow your eagerness, curiosity, attentiveness, respect, initiative and diligence to emerge and develop as we create a mutually safe and productive learning environment.
