Abi Stamos received her training at Sarasota Ballet School and Boston Ballet’s Trainee program. After completing her training, she joined Richmond Ballet’s second company. Following two years in the second company, Stamos joined Richmond Ballet’s main company where she danced for seven more seasons before retiring from the stage in 2021. At Richmond Ballet, Stamos had the opportunity to perform a wide variety of classical and contemporary works across Virginia, North Carolina, NYC and China.
During her professional performance career, Stamos earned a B.S. in Health Science from Florida Gulf Coast University graduating summa cum laude. She later went on to begin a career in Human Resources where she is now a SHRM-CP and PHR certified HR professional. Abi is excited to join the UNCSA preparatory program faculty for the 2024-2025 year.
