Tax Compliance

The Tax Compliance is a unit of the Controller's Office that manages tax compliance, serves as a resource to the university community on tax issues, and develops necessary procedures and reporting systems to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Tax Compliance staff provides tax services in following areas:

• Foreign Nationals Payments Working in the U.S.
• International students scholarship and fellowship
• Independent contractors
• Moving expense reimbursements
• Taxable Fringe Benefit Guide (PDF on the IRS.gov website)
• Educational assistance reimbursements
• Sales Tax
• Unrelated business income tax
• University and affiliated entities tax returns
