Cancer Support Group: April events

Join the UNCSA Cancer Support Group this April! There will be three opportunities to connect:

• On Wednesday, April 9, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., drop in for conversation in Room 306 (aka the fishbowl) in Hanes Student Commons. You can bring lunch if you would like or just stop by to say hi!
• On Saturday, April 26, we have a UNCSA Cancer Support Group team for the Angel Run/Walk. The Angel Run was created by a local family who lost a daughter to colon cancer. They aim to raise awareness about colon cancer and provide support to colon cancer patients and their families. To learn more about the Angelic Warrior Foundation (sponsor of the Angel Run), you can visit their website. You can participate in the run/walk virtually or in-person, or just support the cause. • On Wednesday, April 30, the Cancer Support Group will gather at the foot of the staircase (from the Music Building) on Daniels Plaza for our annual photo! We started this tradition a couple of years ago since we knew most of us would be able to attend the Celebration of Excellence. We will update you with an approximate time as we near the date.
