Opening reception for Jessica Singerman: "Cloud Girl Accidentally Eats Rainbow"
Sawtooth School of Visual Art presents a new solo exhibition by acclaimed Winston-Salem
artist and Filmmaking faculty member Jessica Singerman.
"Cloud Girl Accidentally Eats Rainbow" features video, collage, drawing and textile
installation works that explore our relationship to the ephemeral and ever-shifting
natural world.
The exhibition will be on view from Monday, April 21, through Saturday, July 12, with
an opening reception on Thursday, April 17, from 6-8 p.m.
There will also be complementary hands-on workshops with the artist on Tuesday, April
8, and Wednesday, April 9, to create fabric boulders for the exhibition. These workshops
are open to all and offered free of charge, courtesy of Sawtooth and supporting community
partners.
