Dance Collaborative Day sessions Oct. 17

Wesley Williams, Tiffany Bailey and Emily Nicolaou from the UNCSA School of DanceFaculty and staff from the School of Dance are hosting three Collaborative Day sessions on Oct. 17.

At each session, they'll be receiving donation items for the WNC communities that were impacted by Hurricane Helene. The items will be delivered to local organizations who have implemented drop-off sites and transportation.

 

West African Bantaba

Come by Daniels Plaza to dance, drum, or witness the art of West African Bantaba. A limited number of instruments will be given out, or you can bring your own. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. This is open to all levels, schools, and departments.

Improv/Jam Session

During this class, we will collaborate via movement, music, and themes to explore phrases and choreography. The goal of this class is to step outside of our comfort zones as individuals and reach new limits as artists. All levels, styles, and majors are welcome.
